Extra Curricular & Enrichment Opportunities

What we offer does not just end at academic studies, we provide a substantial range of extra curricular and enrichment opportunities that are designed to address the personal and spiritual development of each student.

Our Sixth Form teams work to create a sense of Love for Learning by providing a range of experiences that are designed to further promote interest in what students are learning, whilst broadening their experiences and enhancing their interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

Students are also encouraged to take on leadership roles, motivating them to become responsible adults who are ready to make a positive impact on society. As part of this, students are able to take advantage of an excellent selection of opportunities including the organisation of social activities and community events, charity work, young enterprise programmes and participation in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme. We also provide peer mentoring opportunities, work shadowing, global expeditions, drama productions, orchestras and bands, participation in work-based learning projects and a variety of impressive sporting opportunities.

We also help the students to record and present these experiences in a way that provides them with an exceptional portfolio of evidence that will help them with their future universities and career prospects.

"The ALPS consortium prides itself on community, we want all of our students to fully experience the amazing consortium community available to them. Students are actively involved in planning cross-curricular events to support the local community, such as engagement with the local food bank as well as arranging speakers appropriate for this ever changing world. Each campus shares events such as conferences, speakers, talks, team building activities and much more. We know that when we work together we thrive, and our students thrive"
